Ben Turnbull 'Doesn't Like Mondays'...

For those of you familiar with the work of British artist, Ben Turnbull you'll know he is never one to shy away from portraying the unsettling truths of American dominance in global culture. Most of his art takes a satrical look at the length that political elites will go to in order to control and manipulate the way we think, from our first days of play to the last time we cast our vote.
For his fifth London solo show,
'I Don't Like Mondays' artist Ben Turnbull whittled symbols of violence into school desks. This series explores a childhood fascination with violence.
Force fed on violence, abused by a controlling superpower and blackmailed through patriotism, the public are ultimately as disposable as the toys they once played with. Ben Turnbull
