Ugg boots are showing no signs of going out of style anytime soon, they were first introduced to the ever-changing world of British fashion back in '03 and to celebrate the brand's success, Ugg is opening its European flagship store in Covent Garden.
Just one month ago, Ugg opened its outlet in London's new Westfield centre and today the sheepskin-lined footwear will be hitting Covent Garden following the launch party this week. The Covent Garden store will echo the decor of the Westfield one, with rich wood and plenty of soft sheepskin rugs.
Personally I think they look like loaves of hard-dough bread, but to each and their own...I guess.

The Original Soul Man is back
15:44
You probably remember Anthony Hamilton from his timeless classic; 'Coming where I'm From' or my personal favourite 'Charlene' .... his rough yet soft as silk voice captures me every time, you know those artists that make you close your eyes, click your fingers and rock to the beat ....LOL. This combined with his heartfelt, down to earth lyrics is what makes him my original Soul Man... check out his new song from his new album; The Point of it All
Cardboardshelter.org is an organisation that aims to raise both awareness of, and funds for The Big Issue Foundation by bringing together artists from around the UK to contribute towards the first CardboardShelter.org exhibition. London Loves Grafitti explores the world of graffiti and the artists who rebel against conventional art. It also features members of the ATG crew discussing their work.
Adidas have collaborated with David Z to create the Black Tie Project.
This partnership takes a deluxe approach with premium pearlarized leathers, patent leather and tone on tone pinstripes, but what really makes this shoe unique is the toe and midsole.
The traditional rubber shell was replaced with premium embroidered leather and the midsole was leather wrapped giving a more sophisticated and grown appeal.
The Superstar has been transformed into a dress shoe in this collaboration. There are only 400 pairs available, set for release on 'Black Friday' November 28th.
Wiley and co. continue music's new fascination with auto-tune :-(
On the first listen I was giving Wiley a serious side-eye, but after a few plays its grown on me. I still don't love it but I think it's Ghetto's appearance that makes me able to listen to the song at all .
And is it me or does this video look like its a really funny skit about grime artists'?
I love hearing about new and interesting creative projects especially when its mission is to 're-educate the globe'.

- Press Release
A project like this is long overdue. Many people are unaware of Africa's cutting edge, bold fashion and style. I am so tired of the negative images the Media try to associate with Africa, so its great to see things such a this.
Please check out a few members from the Pop Africana collective and their blogs;
I love how they needed a lyrics sheet for the chorus of Hey Ya! lol and apparently they're available for parties...Joyful, Joyful!
So I've decided to hire them as entertainment for my birthday party next year and I'll make sure they perform 'Hot in here' including choreography. Because everybody wants to see old people take their clothes off
...right?
Thanks (I think) to Jimmy Sevenways for sending it my way
Married to the Mob has collaborated with Nike on a pair of Dunk High Supremes. They feature a clean white woven cotton upper accented with glossy black patentleather trim. The glossy patent trim throws me off a bit, but I'm loving the gold MOB logo lacelocks and flap clips...and Christmas is only 40 days away *ahem* :-)
Japanese based design firm Studio 100% has been showing off their latest LED watch at Tokyo Design Week '08,with concealed LEDs that shimmer through the gunmetal links of the bracelet...I know Fly Dan will appreciate this.
